Further Information About Our Speaker:
Serkan Kaptan, an aviation enthusiast with over 30 years of experience, began
his career at Birgenair Charter Group in 1991 as an operations supervisor. He
later served as a consultant for Airport Consulting Vienna (ACV) before joining
TAV Airports Holding in 2002 In 2006, he began leading Business Development &
Strategy, Airline Marketing, R&D, and Investment activities at TAV Airports.
Appointed Deputy CEO in 2016, he became CEO in May 2022 Mr. Kaptan is also a
member of all TAV Airports Holding subsidiaries and the ADP Executive Board,
overseeing regions including Central Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Eastern
Europe, and the CIS.
He serves on the Board of the Service Exporters’ Association (HIB) and as
Chairman of the DEIK Türkiye-Latvia Business Council. Elected to the Board of ACI
Europe in 2021, Mr. Kaptan holds a degree in Business Administration from
Istanbul University and an MBA from Marmara University.
