We are delighted to invite you to the upcoming monthly luncheon of the Propeller Club Port of Istanbul on October 24, 2024, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Taksim. This exclusive event will feature a distinguished guest, Sedef Ayhan, Managing Director of Maersk for the East Mediterranean Region.
Sedef Ayhan is a seasoned leader with a remarkable career spanning over two decades at Maersk, a global leader in container shipping and logistics. Since 2017, she has held the role of Managing Director, overseeing operations across 16 countries, including Turkey, Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, and more.
As a Koç University Economics graduate and a proud alumna of Üsküdar American Academy, Ayhan’s journey from management trainee to one of the most influential figures in the logistics industry is truly inspiring. She will bring her deep insights into the topic of “Logistics and Supply Chain Resilience.”
This conversation, will be moderated by Mr. Sinan Dallı, Advisor to the Board at Transtal Shipping BV, Board Member EEC Systems and NART Insurance & Reinsurance Brokerage Inc. The conversation will explore how multinational firms navigate risks and opportunities in one of the world’s most dynamic and geopolitically sensitive regions, and globally around the World. The East Mediterranean is a vital hub, not only for Maersk but for global supply chains.
