he Propeller Club Port of Istanbul’s monthly meeting was held on March 27, 2025, at Grand Hyatt Istanbul with the wonderful participation of 60 members and guests. This meeting served as an important platform to support the club’s development, strengthen collaboration among members, and exchange ideas on future strategic approaches.
During the meeting, our speakers, Aydın Erdem and Evrim Kuran, shared their valuable expertise with us in a warm and engaging atmosphere.
Aydın Erdem, General Manager of KONDA Research, opened the session with a data-driven analysis of Turkey’s current societal situation. He addressed topics such as the depression index, unemployment issues, migration, and the impacts of technological advancements. Drawing on KONDA’s decades-long legacy, he provided insights on how up-to-date data should guide decision-making processes.
Following this, Evrim Kuran brought her unique perspective, shedding light on generational shifts, societal change, and the significance of creating inclusive work environments. As an expert in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and with her contributions to generational and organizational studies, Evrim captivated the attendees and encouraged thoughtful discussion.
At the end of the session, we expressed our gratitude to Aydın Erdem and Evrim Kuran for carefully addressing questions from our members and sharing their invaluable knowledge. Their contributions truly enriched the meeting.
