Honorable Members,
On November 30th we held our monthly luncheon meeting.
IT was a great opportunity for networking, immensely productive content wise and full of joy with your active participation. Thank you all for coming. We are extremely happy to have welcomed friends and experts as our guests to the luncheon.
We were honored to welcome Prof. Dr. Evren Balta as our keynote speaker. She is a renowned figure in the field of “International Relations and Politics”. Her speech title “Navigating the Shifting Tides, Unraveling Global Dynamics in an Age of Power Struggles” as well as information shared was extremely interesting. She pointed out short- and medium-term challenges of the political world with an in dept strategic analysis. She developed her notes around international actors and power struggle and of course Turkey’s role in recent developments.
Her approach with a perspective of an academic as well as a touch of business interest, helped us find answers to our questions.
Our second speaker Entrepreneur Ayşe İnal, co-founder and CEO of Revel Games, presented a breath-taking perspective of a world unknown to many of us listening. She answered questions among them appeared some uneasiness with regards to the young generations dedicating too much of their time to gaming and also with regards to sectors such as politics and global security, using gaming for other purposes. She also gave us a perspective of game involvement in business, such as human resources, marketing and other professional purposes.
At the end of our meeting, we briefly touched upon the success of the Italian delegation visit to Istanbul, while welcoming new members to our club.
