April Breakfast “The Story of Turkish Coffee”

At Propeller Club, we enjoy bringing our members together not only at our regular meetings but also in more intimate settings that encourage meaningful conversations and new connections. We are delighted to invite you to the first event of our Special Gathering
Series — a breakfast dedicated to the cultural journey of Turkish coffee.

Our event, “The Story of Turkish Coffee,” will feature Osman Serim, consultant, educator, and one of the prominent figures in Turkish coffee culture. As Vice President of the Turkish Coffee Culture and Research Association, he has dedicated his
career to promoting Turkish coffee internationally. With decades of experience across Europe, the United States, the Middle East, and Turkey, he continues to contribute to culinary culture through education, consultancy, and publications.

Our gathering will begin with breakfast, followed by an engaging session with Osman Serim. Together, we will explore the journey of coffee — from its Ethiopian origins to Ottoman palaces and European salons — and reflect on how it has shaped diplomacy, trade,
and social life. More than a beverage, coffee has long been a symbol of dialogue, connection, and shared moments. Osman Serim’s presentation will be in Turkish.

As the saying goes, “A cup of coffee has forty years of memory.” In this spirit, we look forward to a warm and inspiring morning where culture meets conversation, and new connections are brewed.
