From Disruption to Decision: When AI Enters the Decision Itself
From Disruption to Decision: When AI Enters the Decision Itself
Digital transformation changed the way we do business. Artificial intelligence is now moving into something far more consequential: the decision itself.
This shift extends well beyond technology investments. It raises fundamental questions about how companies will compete, where value will be created — and concentrated — how Türkiye will position itself in this new landscape, and how the role of people in business will evolve.
On 22 October at Grand Hyatt Istanbul, Propeller Club Port of Istanbul is pleased to welcome K. Erman Karaca, Vice Chairman of the Board and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of CloudOne AI.
With a career spanning more than four decades, Karaca brings a wealth of experience across research, banking, data-driven predictive systems, and technology leadership. Her perspective on artificial intelligence is informed not only by what emerging technologies may make possible, but also by the lessons learned from previous waves of transformation.
What changes when AI becomes part of the decision-making process itself?
Why is economic value concentrating so rapidly, and where?
What are the implications for corporate competitiveness and Türkiye’s position in the global economy?
And, at the heart of it all, how will the role of people be redefined?
Rather than a conventional presentation, the event will take the form of an interactive conversation, enriched by Erman Karaca’s insights and shaped by the questions, perspectives, and experiences of our participants.
Because the challenge is no longer simply about adapting to another technological advancement. It is about making the right decisions when the very nature of decision-making is changing.
We warmly invite our members and guests to join us for an engaging exchange with Erman Karaca, exploring what lies ahead for business, for Türkiye, and for the people shaping both.
