Esteemed Members of the Propeller Club,

As always, it is with great excitement and pleasure to reach you. I like to announce the details about our last luncheon of the year; December 21, 2023.
We have gone through a political and economic rally all through the year… we will be ending ‘23 with a great speaker, and accurate predictions that will shape our expectations for 2024.

She will carry us to a horizon in the world affairs with an emphasis to the financial markets and consumer behavior. I would like to underline the importance of behavioral approach to our everyday life, which has become a “science”!… Let me announce the topic of the speech and share with you some key words with regards to the content.

A fee of 900 TL for the lunch (three soft drinks included) is payable at the luncheon. A cash bar will also be available. Cancellations are only permitted 3 days prior to the event.

Biography

Yasemin Bedir
President, Eastern Europe

Eastern Europe President Yasemin Bedir joined Mastercard in 2007. Before her career in Mastercard, she worked as a manager in retail banking services at HSBC, Garanti Bank, and Yapı Kredi in Turkey. She served in several roles from marketing to product development through the years.
In 2011, she took on the role of the Head of Sales for Southeast Europe and consequently in 2014 she became General Manager of Turkey and Azerbaijan.
On December 1st, 2017 she had been appointed as Mastercard North America Markets, Executive Vice President and has become the first female senior executive ever from Turkey to work in Mastercard US. In this role, Bedir was responsible for Community Institutions and Processors for North American Markets until 2022.
Since the beginning of 2022 Bedir is in charge of newly formed Eastern Europe Division, overseeing 6 offices in 12 countries
Being amongst the Founders of the Professional Women Network (PWN), Yasemin Bedir is also co-sponsoring Women Leadership Network globally within Mastercard and leads many projects to help SME’s grow.
